Our Sub-Branch of the RNZNA is based at the Papanui RSA and we are extremely grateful for the use of this excellent facility.

We have our monthly meetings on 1st Tuesday of each month commencing at 1730 at Papanui RSA apart from January.

We also have an informal gathering at ‘Our Leaner’ at about 1700 each Friday evening for ‘Dits and Scuttlebutt’.

 During the course of the year we celebrate RNZN Anniversary Day, Trafalgar Day and also run sports afternoons and ship visits for visiting Naval vessels.

 Our aims and objects are numerous but basically it is to uphold and continue the relationships that began in the Service and to foster good fellowship amongst our members.

 Membership of the Association is open to all personnel who are serving or have served in the RNZN or any of the Royal Navies of the British Commonwealth or any arm of those services for a period of continuous duty of at least six months.

Membership is also open to personnel who have served in Navies other than Royal Navies i.e.: USN etc.

We also welcome our shipmates from the Merchant Service and Associate membership is also available to persons who wish to join outside the above criteria.
